Lindsay Lohan will not be returning for season two of The Masked Singer Australia, according to a report by New Idea.
Channel 10 is supposedly ‘replacing’ her as a celebrity judge on the show due to her ‘tricky demands’ behind the scenes.
‘[Lindsay] was tricky with demands and had a complete lack of respect for time schedules,’ said an unnamed TV insider.
Lindsay, 33, will apparently be replaced on the panel by Australian singer Kate Ceberano, who is rumoured to be The Lion on this year’s season.
Channel 10 is yet to confirm a second season of The Masked Singer and has not made any statement about the judging panel.
Speaking on the Kyle and Jackie O Show last week, Lindsay denied reports she was a ‘diva’ on set and said people were just digging for ‘negativity’.
‘People want to find the negative for no reason. There was nothing negative about [filming The Masked Singer],’ she said.
Radio host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, who is also a judge on The Masked Singer, added that production was ‘the best experience’ and ‘so much fun’.
However, former Masked Singer contestant Wendell Sailor has stated publicly that Lindsay’s long breaks disrupted production. ‘About a minute before I had to perform, they said, “Lindsay’s hungry, she’s going to have a break.” It was like an hour break! We were there for a while,’ Wendell said on KIIS FM last week.
The retired rugby player, 45, explained he was forced to wait in his dressing room during Lindsay’s break because he wasn’t allowed to talk to anyone on set.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Channel 10 and Lindsay for comment.
After the failure of her MTV reality series “Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club,” it seems like Lohan is hatching another TV project.
In an interview on Australia’s “Studio 10” this week, Lohan revealed that she’s “writing a TV series that will come out in America. Almost like a reality show, but not a reality show.” (She’s currently Down Under filming “The Masked Singer.”)
Lohan went on to say that she will play at “kind of being a puppet master,” and will star in the series with her siblings.
Page Six exclusively reported in June that Lohan had lost her show and the Mykonos, Greece, nightclub on which it was based.
Sources told us at the time that the show didn’t have “enough drama.”

She’s set to appear on The Masked Singer.
And on Monday, there was speculation Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan could also appear on the Australian version of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!.
According to a report in Woman’s Day magazine, the 33-year-old is rumoured to have made a ‘two-part deal’ with Channel Ten.
‘[The deal] is where she appears on the panel of The Masked Singer and stars in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!,’ the report states.
The new season of IAC will be screened early next year.
Despite the The Masked Singer Australia not even hitting screens yet, it has already been embroiled in a number of controversies with its biggest star.
According to a report by The Sydney Morning Herald on Saturday, Lindsay’s turbulent behaviour has been dealt with on-set.
‘She loves you one minute and the next she will fire you,’ an alleged insider from the star’s ‘tight circle’ told the publication.
The alleged production insider claimed that dealing with Lindsay’s behaviour ‘is part of the job’.
‘Of course she doesn’t mean it, she likes to throw tantrums but it’s part of the job when you work with Lindsay,’ the alleged ‘source’ reportedly told the paper.
It comes after it was alleged that Lindsay has been embroiled in feuds with her Masked Singer co-stars Dannii Minogue and Dave Hughes.
The show has been plagued by rumours of Lindsay’s ‘diva behaviour’ on set ever since co-judge David Hughesy joked about it last month.
The Masked Singer airs on Channel 10 later this year.
